On Tuesday, October 9th, we will be holding our first Bertil Roos “Rookie Runoffs” racing event on the North Course at Pocono Int’l Raceway. The one day program will be open to all past and present graduates of our Rookie Camps, who have not yet competed in any sanctioned racing events.

On Friday, May 25, 2007, four Bertil Roos Racing School grads will take on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the Indy Pro Series "Freedom 100." Andrew Prendeville, Robbie Pecorari, Joey Scarallo and Leilani Munter are scheduled to start the race, which will be shown live on ESPN 2 at 4:00pm. We take great pride in the achievements of our graduates dating back to Michael Andretti....

If you're around long enough...amoung the notable students that participated in our school during 2006 were Chase Mattioli, Conor Daly and Jonathan Scarallo. Chase is the grandson of Joe Mattioli, long time owner of Pocono Int'l Raceway. Conor is the son of Formula One and Indy Car driver Derek Daly. Jonathan is the younger brother of Joey Scarallo, who will be competing in the Indy Pro Series this year....

Having just completed his licensing school, and competing in his very first road race, 16 year old Chase Mattioli won Round 4 of the Bertil Roos F-2000 Race Series, at a rain soaked Virginia International Raceway. If the name sounds familiar to race fans, it should. Chase is the son of Joe & Lovena Mattioli, and grandson of Pocono Raceway owner Doc. Mattioli.
