Yes, the rumors are true. The Bertil Roos Racing School has added a new venue for the 2008 season, the New Jersey Motorsports Park.
This brand new facility, which is being developed along the lines of Virginia International Raceway, promises to provide two of the fastest, and most technically challenging road courses the Northeast has seen since the closing of Bridgehampton.Located in southcentral New Jersey, the new track is a 45 minute drive from Philadelphia, PA and approximately two hours from New York City. Its close proximity to Atlantic City will also make it a popular venue for corporate and group outings.Roos President, Dennis Macchio, is particularly enthusiastic about the new facility. "We've been providing consultation on this project from its inception, and are quite excited about the layout of the two courses," Macchio said. "It's a great combination of technical, strategic corners, with a large dose of pucker factor thrown in. Elevation and camber changes are reminiscent of Bridgehampton."The school will conducting a full menu of programs at the new track, including its flag ship 3-Day School, 2-Day Advanced School, 1/2 Day and 1 Day Programs, Computer Coaching Clinic, and a round of the Roos F-2000 Race Series. Whether you're brand new to the sport, or an experienced driver, what better way to learn a new track, and develop your skills, than through one of our programs, taught by the instructors who helped design the track.
