The Bertil Roos Winter Race Series has been announced with an eight-race schedule over four doubleheader weekends from October 2018 through February 2019.
It features the same race format of the Bertil Roos Summer Series, and with a special offer, you can sign up by August 1 and save on season pricing. Call (800) 722-3669 and race the whole season for $10,000 with one and done pricing and limited crash damage liability. Other pricing options include $10,600 for the season before Sept. 1 or a cost of $3,100 per race weekend.
The series champion wins $10,000 in BRRS Credits. Second place is awarded $5,000 in BRRS Credits and the third-place driver receives $2,500 in BRRS Credits. A driver must be a graduate of Bertil Roos Racing School’s 5-day, road-racing school or have similar experience to race. Spots are limited.
The new series will feature the newly re-engineered R/T 2000 Formula car, which features a five-speed sequential gearbox and a 135-horsepower, fuel-injected, 4-cylinder engine. The R/T 2000 combines modern performance with the same great drivability that has made Bertil Roos Racing School a staple in the U.S. for over four decades.
The season kicks off October 6 and 7 with races No. 1 and No. 2 at Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR) in Jupiter, Fla.
Palm Beach International Raceway, which features a state-of-the-art 2.2-mile road course, will host the next four rounds of the series with races on December 3-4, 2018, and January 18-19, 2019. The series then shifts to the challenging Carolina Motorsports Park for the final two rounds on February 23-24, 2019.
